At EIU's Independence Day event, we celebrate Lebanon's strength, resilience, and the unwavering determination of its people; students, workers, mothers, and fathers alike. Students, faculty members, and staff gathered to honor Lebanon's resilience over a Lebanese gourmet feast and patriotic songs, reminding each other of Lebanon's endurance amidst all challenges. This event highlighted our unity and love for Lebanon. May peace prevail, and may a brighter future light our path forward.
